2020 was the most challenging year for everyone due to the virus and the lockdowns. However, we were busier than ever in providing much-needed relief to those affected by the lockdown.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Distribution of Ration kits, cooked meals, food packets to slum dwellers, migrants, transgenders, CSWs, and other vulnerable populations.
- Infection Prevention Control Activities like installation of non-touch handwashing solutions at community toilets, Jumbo centers, and hospitals.
- Risk Communication and Community Engagement activities to spread awareness.
- Distribution of soaps, sanitizers, masks, gloves to frontline health workers, sanitation workers, and the general population.
Ground Activation For Vaccination & CAB Awareness
- Our only weapon to fight COVID19 is immunization, and therefore we have been continuously carrying out ground activation for vaccination registration, vaccine hesitancy, COVID-19 Appropriate behavior.
- Door to Door Awareness and Vaccination Registration Activities.
- A focused approach to reach out to vulnerable working women like domestic help, rag pickers, CSWs, etc
- Senior citizens and differently-abled population mobilized and vaccinated
- Co-ordination with nearest vaccination centers and crowd management.
- CACR has made it a mission to improve personal hygiene management during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- It helps in enforcing knowledge of frequent washing of hands at critical times.
- As a result, it decreases the chances of illness due to unsanitary hands.
- The program sensitizes children to the ill effects of an unhygienic lifestyle.
- Encourages children to adapt life long better hygiene habits.
