- COVID Response with WASH Integration in 15 Fisherfolk Villages of Vidavalurumandal:
Supported by CADME/UNICEF, this project integrates Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
practices to combat the spread of COVID-19 and improve living conditions for vulnerable fishing
communities. It aligns with public health advocacy and preventive medical services to ensure
long-term resilience.
- PROMOTION OF ALTERNATIVE LIVELIHOOD TO COVID-19 AFFECTED POOR WOMEN
With funding from The Strathspey Charitable Trust, U.K., this initiative empowers women by
providing them with skills training and resources to generate sustainable income. This effort
supports gender equality in healthcare, family planning services, and economic empowerment.
- Strengthening Horticulture Farmers through Farmers Producer Organisations (FPOs)
In collaboration with NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development), RRRES is
empowering horticulture farmers in Kavali and Buchireddy Palem mandals. By promoting
sustainable agriculture, local food sustainability, and agricultural best practices, the project
ensures increased productivity and market access for smallholder farmers.
- Drilling of Agricultural Bore Wells with Pump Sets for Poor Farmers
Funded by 1% FOR DEVELOPMENT FUND, Switzerland, this initiative addresses water
accessibility programs, ensuring that poor farmers have reliable irrigation systems to sustain
their crops during dry seasons.
- Providing RO Plants for Safe Drinking Water in Nellore
Supported by SELAVIP FOUNDATION, CHILE, this project focuses on delivering clean drinking
water to underserved communities, combating issues related to malnutrition, waterborne
diseases, and nutritional assistance.
- Improving Access to Social Protection Programmes in 24 Vulnerable Villages of
Vidavalurumandal
Backed by CADME/UNICEF, this initiative ensures marginalized families gain access to essential
government schemes and social protection benefits, fostering food security initiatives and
community health support.
- Tribal Development Programmes
Partnering with LACIM-France, RRRES works to uplift tribal communities through health
awareness, livelihood support, and capacity-building activities, promoting universal healthcare
and educational equity.

- Strengthening Yanadi Tribals through Awareness, Formation of MACS, and Night Schools
Supported by DKA, Austria, this project empowered 36 villages in Buchi and Dagadarthi
Mandals by establishing Multi-Activity Centers (MACS) and night schools. These efforts
promoted literacy development programs, inclusive early education, and vocational skills
training.
- Community-Based Disaster Preparedness Programmes
In partnership with LACIM, France, RRRES trained youth as task force teams to respond
effectively to natural disasters, enhancing climate justice advocacy and disaster mitigation
strategies.
- Seasonal Hostels and Worksite Schools for Children
With assistance from Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and Aide at Action-Hyderabad, RRRES provided
seasonal hostels and worksite schools for children of migrant laborers and fishermen. These
initiatives ensured equitable education access and reduced dropout rates among vulnerable
groups.
- TB Awareness Programme in 40 Slums of Nellore Town
Funded by The Open Meadows Foundation, USA, this program raised awareness about
tuberculosis through DOTs volunteers, contributing to public health advocacy and disease
prevention.
- Distribution of Try-Cycles and Milch Animals
Try-cycles were distributed to school-going children in Nellore District with support from The
United Nations' Women's Guild, Austria, improving mobility and encouraging school
attendance.
Milch animals were provided to Dalit women in Chalamcherla village with funding from The
Katholieke Stichting Jongeren Belangen, Netherlands, enabling income generation and financial
independence.
- Mobile Veterinary Clinics
In collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Andhra Pradesh,
RRRES operated mobile veterinary clinics in Udayagiri and Venkatagiri Assembly Constituencies,
supporting livestock health and rural livelihoods.
- Environmental Awareness Programme Against Plastic Usage
Conducted in Buchi Mandal with support from the Ministry of Environmental Affairs, Govt. of
India, this campaign addressed environmental sustainability and promoted alternatives to
plastic use.
- Free Medical Aid to Yanadi Tribals
Ongoing with support from LACIM, France, this initiative provides free medical care to Yanadi
tribals in three villages, ensuring equal healthcare access and addressing health inequity.
- Flood Relief Distribution in Kurnool District
During the 2009 floods, RRRES partnered with TV9 to distribute rice and food grains worth Rs. 2
lakhs, exemplifying emergency food assistance and hunger relief efforts.
- Awareness Programmes on Fluoride Mitigation and Toilets Construction
Collaborating with FANSA Network, RRRES educated communities on mitigating fluoride
contamination in water and constructing toilets, advancing sanitation facilities and hygiene
promotion.
- Various Awareness Programmes and Rallies
Topics included organic farming, sustainable agriculture, political rights, HIV/AIDS awareness,
Women’s Day celebrations, Environmental Day observances, and Independence Day rallies.
These events fostered community engagement and social awareness.
- Ration Kits, Masks, and Vegetable Distribution During COVID Lockdown
Supported by Global Compassion Inc., USA, The Strathspey Charitable Trust, U.K., and LACIM-
France, this initiative provided essential supplies to poor households, addressing food insecurity
and health equity during the pandemic.
